“City Angels”

I sketched an angel image with pencil in 2018, but it was not inked until Jan 2020. I added the symbol of New York, and created characters of the gangs who fight against the Angel. As I think about recently the front line doctors, nurses, police officers, military, grocery workers, bus drivers, the President of America and his team, coming together for fighting the Coronavirus for us, and saving lives in the past weeks and the coming weeks, they are really our ‘Angels in the City’.
