Mulan vs Shan Yu, the evil warlord

As March 2023 is Disney’s 100 anniversary, there are always Disney’s ad on TV for bring back the love feeling to their animations and movies, and Mulan animations is still the top hit. I would like contribute my drawing to Mulan’s fans with a better understanding what is her story. By doing so, I add her enemy, Shan Yu in the picture so that Mulan looks more like a hero warrior. Mulan was real according to the historical documents in the ancient China, so technically, her story is even more attractive compared to those make up superheroes from Marvel. Think about that a teenager girl in her 18 years old, made herself like a boy and join the army for fighting against the Hum army’s invasion. For twelve years she and her fellow soldiers fighting in the battle field every day until Shan Yu and his army retreated from China. When she came back from the war, she turned down the emperor’s offer her position as a high ranking general. She went back to her home town, and she lived there with her family until 90 old before she died. In fact, in our world nowadays, there are so many “Mulan” serving our country as a military force, these young ladies deserve our support and honour for their sacrifices for serving our country.
