St Andrew’s Church in HongKong
I did this drawing in Kowloon, HongKong during my vacation over there in 2017, in one of the Sunday, I came to this beautiful and oldest church for my Sunday worship. After the Sunday service, I sat down on a bench, and took out my sketch book and started to sketch this famous church, which was built in 1906, the oldest English speaking Protestant church in Kowloon. It is a red brick structure with intricate white arches for the doorway and windows. It was built in the traditional cruciform shape and it has a bell tower. After I came back to America from my vacation, I painted the picture with watercolor, with my beginner’s skill. Here I want share this meaningful urbane sketching with you although it is not a professional job, but at least I can bring your attention to this beautiful and oldest church structure in HongKong.
